Secondary school students following Tanzania’s new Competency Based Curriculum struggle to access practical and engaging STEM and vocational learning due to limited laboratories, equipment, and trained teachers. As a result, many learners fail to develop the hands on skills and conceptual understanding required by the CBC.
Ekima and TIE co designed and built the LMS powering Opschool, digitized CBC aligned STEM and vocational content, and integrated AI driven learning support.

Partners including WSHA, DOT, Ennovate, TRIAS, SIDO, VETA, and FETA lacked a seamless platform to deliver skills training digitally at scale, while youth and women struggled to access relevant skills courses in one place.
Ekima designed and built FursaPlus as a unified skills marketplace, enabling partners to digitize and deliver interactive training while giving youth and women easy access to practical skills courses through one platform.
